The secret which has made Indore which cleanest city of the country for the last four years will be introduced to other cities of the country so that other cities can also match Indore. An agreement has been signed between IIM and Municipal Corporation regarding this for 3 years. Under this agreement IIM will also work for financial management of Indore Municipal Corporation, to develop capacities for cleaning and other works, training for employees and staff, making workshops and local governance.
The agreement was signed in the presence of the Corporation’s commissioner Pratibha Pal and IIM Director Professor Himanshu Pal. Under the agreement, IIM Indore will also prepare a case study on the cleanliness of Indore and will disclose it to other cities of the country. Along with this, efforts have been done by the corporation for the betterment of cleanliness in city. Apart from this, the corporation will also cooperate in the use of IT and technology.
According to Corporator Pratibha Pal, other cities also want to adopt the cleaning model of Indore. In such a situation, IIM Indore will upgrade other cities. Apart from this, the Municipal Corporation will share the better work done in cleaning and other works in other cities with Indore.
