Nagpur Municipal Corporation’s nuisance search squad on Wednesday (February 10) took action against 145 irresponsible citizens without masks and recovered a fine of Rs 72,500 in total (Rs 500) each from them. Masks were also given to all these citizens. In the last few months, search teams have taken action against 31,202 citizens and so far and a fine of Rs. 1,39,60,000 / – has been recovered.
Although the number of corona patients has decreased, the risk of coronavirus infection has not been averted. Even now, in many places, safe distances are not observed. In urban areas, it is dangerous to see unmasked citizens walking around. Therefore, the nuisance detection team is taking strict action against the citizens who are endangering their own health, family’s health and the health of the society in such an irresponsible manner and they are being given masks.
On Wednesday, the Municipal Corporation nuisance investigation team found 36 under Laxminagar zone, 25 under Dharampeth zone, 15 under Hanuman Nagar zone, 6 under Nehrunagar zone, 6 under Gandhibagh zone, 3 under Sataranjipura zone, 3 under Lakdaganj zone and 9 under Ashinagar zone. The action was taken against 19 persons under the zone and 3 persons from the corporation headquarters on Tuesday under the guidance of search team chief Virsen Tambe.
In order to control the number of patients in Nagpur, the Municipal Corporation’s nuisance search team is taking action against irresponsible citizens in the zone every day without masks. To protect citizens from corona, wear masks, observe social distance, wash hands, etc. Is being repeatedly suggested by Nagpur Municipal Corporation. The corporation has also appealed to the intelligent and responsible citizens to protect themselves and their families by wearing masks.
