The anti-encroachment team of the civic authority took action on the ten zones of the city on Wednesday and razed 410 encroachments. It seized 5 truck items and recovered a fine of Rs.17,700. As per information,Shangrawar’s dilapidated house on Dalalpura cement road in Satranjipura zone was also demolished by the squad. After this, illegal wall of Bharankar’s street in Magalwari Budhwari broken.Then,60 encroachments were removed from Dahi Bazar Pulia to Marwadi Square,Tabla Bazar Square,Marwadi Chowk to Fish Market Chowk,Juna Bhanadara Road.Illegal hoardings were also removed by demolishing 52 encroachments from the footpaths of the Dr.Ambedkar Road,from Lokmat Chowk,Rahate Colony Chowk to Deekshabhoomi,Dr.Ambedkar College Road under Laxminagar Zone.Shops were also removed from the NMC office in Dharampeth zone.From Samvidhan Square to Akashwani Chowk,Sitabuldi encroachments were removed.Vegetable scrap and furniture shops in front of the university campus on Amravati Road were removed and the goods were seized as well.
Under Hanuman nagar zone,54 encroachments were removed from the zone office from Manewada Square,Tukdoji Memorial to Krida Square,Sakkardara Square,Shukrawari Road.Besides,Nehru Nagar zone also faced action against encroachments under which 11 hoardings,20 banners and 56 encroachmens were removed from Hasanbagh Road to Jyoti Shah Road,Ishwar Nagar.Under Lakadarganj Zone,56 encroachments by shops from Chhaparu Nagar  Square to Wardhaman Nagar Square,Vaishnavi Devi Square were removed and a fine of Rs.87000 was imposed.After this,58 encroachments from Vaishali Nagar,Babaji Buddhaji Nagar to Automative Square,Kapil Nagar,Teka Naka,Indora Square were eliminated and a fine of Rs.5000 was recovered .Under Mangalwari zone,52 shops were removed from the pavement between Avasthi Nagar Square to Borgaon,Dinshaw Factory,Friends Colony and a fine of Rs.1500 was imposed.
