The road for honoring son of soil, who has made not only city but also the whole state proud by reaching the highest post in the judiciary system of the country. Honorable Chief Justice of India Sharad Bobde, is a student of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU). He has completed his Law studies from Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Law College, Nagpur. He will be awarded Doctorate of Law (DLL) on April 3.
The decision to felicitate CJF through a special convocation was taken at the RTMNU Management Council meeting held on February 12. Member of Bar Council Maharashtra and Goa Adv Parijat Pande had requested the RTMNU Management Council to honor CJI which will be an inspiration for the students and people of the city as well as the State earlier. Dr Babanrao Taiwade, President of Rashtriya OBC Mahasangh, also appreciated the decision and said it’s a proud moment for all citizens and a person from the city who top the ladder of the judiciary system, must be honored.
