The Regional Meteorological Centre of Nagpur issued a notification for this week on Monday. According to the Regional Meteorological Centre, there will be thunderstorms with hail and rains on Tuesday (16th). There will also be thunderstorms and rain on 17th February.
On 16th February, there will be heavy rains with hails. This will be accompanied with thunderstorms. Minimum temperature on 16th is predicted to be 16 degree Celsius and maximum is predicted to be 35 degree Celsius. Whereas, on 17th Feb, there will be lighter thunderstorms and temperatures ranging between 15 and 26 degree Celsius.
RMC advised that farmers should plan according to these weather conditions and keep the harvested crops safe. People are also urged not to take shelter under trees, in open spaces, under tin sheds, under power lines or near power plants in case of storms.
