The stretch of Kalamna Ring Road between Ekta Colony Square and Automotive Square is rapidly turning into an accident prone spot. The accidents have become frequent on the stretch. This has caused great concern among people living in the nearby areas. But the administration has not taken any measures yet. No action has been taken so far to resolve the traffic issues on the stretch.
The point to be noted here is that there are no traffic cops posted on this stretch to control the movement of traffic. The Ring Road connecting Ekta Colony, Yadav Nagar to the Pili River area has been developed by cementing it. But the traffic signal has not been made at the square yet. Especially, the movement of trucks starts to get towards the highway. Due to no signal, the trucks pass through this chowk at high speed. Accidents are happening in this situation.
