Nagpur city which has been registering rise in daily cases from few weeks witnessed slight drop on Sunday.
On Feburary 21, the Nagpur district reported 626 fresh COVID cases with 8 people succumbing to the disease.
After today addition of cases the tally of positive patients reached 143133.
The total death toll due to the coronavirus has touched to 4275. Out of the total deaths 764 cases were reported from rural areas, 2767 cases from the city and 744 from out of the city.
After the fresh updates, the total active cases in the city now stands at 5997 including asymptomatic cases advised for home isolation.
Also, 455 corona affected patients became free from the infection taking the cumulative number of recovered cases to 132861 (including 66044 home isolation recoveries). After today’s update the recovery rate stands at 92.82 percent.
Today’s 626 positive cases were reported from various hospitals.
