West Bengal and Bihar recorded easy victories over their opponents in the Koshish Premier League T-20 Cricket Tournament for Physically Disabled at Vasant Nagar ground here on Sunday. West Bengal thrashed Madhya Pradesh by nine wickets.
Batting first MP were all out for a poor total of 19 in ten overs with not a single batsman crossing double digit. For West Bengal, Gaurav Tikadar and Tushal Paul shared six wickets between them.
In another match Bihar drubbed Karnataka by 123 runs. Batting first Bihar posted a huge total of 214 for 7 in 20 overs.
Opening batsman Asit Kumar Singh slammed 78 in 41st balls hitting two sixes and 12 balls. Mohan Sahu (21) and Sublesh Kumar(20) remained unbeaten. For Karnataka, D Charavarthy claimed three wickets for 38 runs.
In reply, Karnataka could able to score just 91 losing eight wickets in 20 overs. Only Naveen Rishi (27) and Vittal Harakurki (20) showed some resistance. For Bihar, batting hero Asi Singh got two wickets for 22 runs while Amit Singh was also chipped in with two.
In reply West Bengal achieved the small target in 1.1 overs. Paul remained not out on nine.
