Dada Mitra Memorial Hockey Tournament organise by Vidarbha Hockey Association began on Sunday at VHA ground . During the inauguration former MLA Sudhakar Deshmukh was felicitated at the hands of chief guest Chandana Mitra before the match.
VHA administrator TN Sidhra, vishwajeet Bhagat, Yagya Thakur, Novel Joseph, Sanjay Lokhande,, Satish Fulsunge and corporator Kishor Jichkar were also present on the occasion.
 In the tournament opener Dinanath Academy defeated Police Boys 4-3 via sudden death The score was nil during the regulation time. In the tie breaker also the score was equalised as both the teams scored three goals each. Â
