City Police on February 24, was successful in seizing two bikes worth Rs 1 lakh along with the robbers and also seized stolen material from them in two different incidents. Pachpawale Police, on the complaint of Himanshu Channe, the residence of Lal Ganj under its jurisdiction caught Swapnil Naik (32), and Shubham Neware, (25) both resident of Bhande Plot, Sewa Dal Nagar. The vehicle missing report was filled by Channe on December 9, 2020, from Rajabhau Khobragade Hall, Teka, and the Pachpawale Police team arrested the thief with the missing bike Honda Dream. Another robbed bike Honda Activa worth Rs 50,000 was also seized from the robbers.
The investigation was carried under the guidance of Lohit Matani, Deputy Police Commissioner Zone 3, R Pardeshi, Joint Police Commissioner Lakkadganj area, Kishor Nagrale, Senior Police Inspector Pachpawale Police Station. Police Inspector Crime Mukund Thakre, Sub Inspector Arvind Shinde, Ravishankar Mishra, Constable, Vijay Jane, Sachin Bhimte, Vishwas Balade, Seshrao Rewatkar, Vinod Barde, Nitin Lokhande, Romesh Mannewar took hard efforts to catch the robbers.
