After Bhavyashree now it was a turn of Mitali Bhoyar to win gold for Nav Maharashtra Krida Mandal in 1500 m race in under 18 girls section in West Zone Junior Athletics Championship at Raipur.
She lost her father in November Despite that She won the silver in the state meet in January. She was selected in the Maharashtra team for Nationals held at Guwahati. There she secured 8th place in the same event. Last year during lockdown former athlete Aparna Thombre (USA) helped her.Â
