According to the letter of the State Election Commission of Maharashtra dated March 18, 2020, caste validity certificate is mandatory for the candidates in the reserved category for the upcoming elections of Nagpur Municipal Corporation.
It has been mentioned in the letter that the candidates contesting from the reserved seats in connection with the Municipal Elections are required to submit the caste validity certificate along with the nomination papers. In connection with the forthcoming elections of Nagpur Municipal Corporation, the candidates who want to contest from the reserved seats should get the caste validity certificate on time, appealed Municipal Commissioner Radhakrishnan B.
