Once again a city girl Pratiksha Pazare, has brought laurels to the city by clearing her B.Sc Nursing and getting commissioned at INHS Asvini, Colaba as Lieutenant. The journey of Pratiksha to reach the rank of Lieutenant was not easy, as she had to clear the MNS exam, which is held on all India level.
Pratiksha’s father Pramod Pazare, who is retired from Indian Navy and now working in the forest Department as a Round Officer, while talking to The Live Nagpur said, “Children must be given freedom to prove themselves. Pratiksha, was good at studies and scored around 85 per cent in her 10th as well as 12th exam.†She has done her 12th from Kamla Nehru Mahavidyalay, and cracked MNS test in the year 2017. After clearing her written and personal interview, she persued for 4 years of B.Sc Nursing at INHS Asvini. “To crack the MNS is itself a difficult task, as its conducted a national level. Her self-study made her successful. She is the only from city after Mrs Bhandarkar, who retired in the year 2016 to reach to the coveted post,†said the proud father.Â
He further added that the toppers are placed in the same hospital, while other around 200 candidates who cracked the exam are posted to various military hospitals in the country. “Pratiksha was the second topper and hence she is commissioned at the same hospital.â€
Pazare, who is the father of two daughter believes in freedom to girl, “Let them choose the career according to their interest. We never imposed our wishes or desire what she want to become. She herself selected her career and has been successful,†he added.
Pratiksha have a keen interest in Karate as well. Her younger sister Tanvi is pursuing B.Sc from Institute of Science in the city and mother Pramila is a housewife. Expressing immense proud, Santosh Malewar, President of Government Re-Employee Organisation and Sudhakar Salve, said that it is a proud moment for city and all Government Re-employee’s as well. They congratulated Pratisha for her achievement. Â
