Nagpur is facing tough times due to the rising number of Coronavirus cases. In these testing times, despite citizens now taking the restrictions seriously, some irresponsible youngsters are still considering the lockdown a joke. Some irresponsible youngsters were seen at various outing spots of the city such as Futala Lake, Seminary Hills, etc.
The city administration recently announced the easing down of the restrictions citing the financial strain on the common man’s life. The Guardian minister Nitin Raut announced that the lockdown is still enforced in the city and considering the source of livelihood of the common man, some restrictions are provided. Even the Commissioner of Police reminded the people that lockdown is not over yet and people must step out of their house only if necessary.
While the leaders seem serious about the pandemic, citizens have also responded in a positive way. Shops and other permitted establishments were closed by 4 pm as instructed by the administration. Even the traffic on roads in the city was comparatively lesser.
But even after a number of instructions by the administration, youngsters in the city seem to act irresponsibly. Many youngsters are seen loitering and wandering around the city. Many famous outing spots such as Futala Lake, Seminary Hills, etc. saw youngsters loitering. Some were even observed smoking cigarettes in public which is prohibited since the enforcement of lockdown.
The city is fighting a huge battle against Coronavirus and with youngsters involving in such irresponsible acts, the situation may worsen.
