An initiative to include everyone under the vaccination programme, Nagpur divisional commissioner Dr Sanjeev Kumar has ordered to conduct Covid vaccination drive on mission mode.
Under the vaccination drive, beneficiaries above 60 years of age and above 45 years with co-morbidities are getting vaccine shots at various centres in the district. The divisional commissioner on Sunday did the inspection of various centres in Nagpur district. These centres include-Butibori in Hingna Tehsil,Gumgaon Ayurvedic Hospital,Wadi,vaccination centres of Koradi Centre in Kamptee Tehsil. There were 125 Covid vaccination centres in the district and 3.5 lakh citizens to be vaccinated. Under the campaign, 1, 41,878 beneficiaries, ie.33 percent have been vaccinated.
