Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on Tuesday demanded that the Central government should increase the number of vaccination centres throughout the state.They also demanded that vaccination centres should be started at all prominent universities and colleges in the state.ABVP has sent a letter to Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackery in this regard.
They have also mentioned that it is essential to maintain social distancing during vaccination.The students body has also demanded that all doctors including MBBS,BHMS and BAMS should be included in the vaccination process.Also the students of paramedical sciences should also be involved.ABVP also stressed upon the need for vaccination centres at ZP schools in rural areas.Vaccination teams should be sent to such villages with mobile vaccination centres.They also said that there should be some separate arrangement for vaccination of senior citizens.
