As we know that the vaccine scarcity is really creating headaches and due to this the vaccination for above 45 years in the city has been suspended. As per information, even till Wednesday evening, there was no stock available with the civic administration. However, they managed to get 983 vaccine doses for 96 vaccine centres in the city. Besides this,at many centres in the city,there are only 2-5 doses available.
From the last four days, people wandering in the city to get vaccinated and frustrated as vaccines are not available. Tanaji Vanve, opposition leader of NMC said that vaccination can be resumed by opening centres with the help of available doses. But is a joke to start vaccination with 983 doses for 96 centres.
