Decline in daily positive cases and rise in recovery rate from the begining of May month can be a result of restrictions imposed by the administration. The result however is a huge relief to the authorities and the health workers.
During the last ten days Nagpur district witnessed decline in positivity rate and the recovery count is improving daily. Covid deaths are reducing gradually, in urban areas while rural areas still need attention.
On Monday, Nagpur district detected 2530 fresh covid positive cases which is third consecutive day that the district witnessed drop in new cases. Meanwhile, today 51 fatalities attributed to novel Coronavirus.
The constant improvement in daily report may ease the restrictions in coming days. In the day sum of 6068 people were successfully recovered from the virus borne disease in last 24 hours.
With the latest update, the total number of positive cases has surged to 451605 while the number of deaths rose to 8142.
It is worth mentiong here that with the down trajectory of covid graph people, however, should not take it lightly and begin to move out freely and violate rules. The second wave was a result of negligence of people. The same could also cause the third wave.
Experts in the field have warned that the virus is still active and controlling its spread is totally in the hand of people.
