Mini-Racket of Fake Driving Licence busted in Mouda Nagpur

Acting on a tip, Nagpur Rural Police on Monday busted a mini racket of fake driving license in Mouda, Nagpur. Items worth sixty-five thousand seized. 

According to the information, the department received a tip regarding the forgery of licence in the Mouda area of Nagpur Rural. Acting of the tip, Amit Karad, Asst. Motor-Vehicle Inspector, RTO Nagpur along with the Nagpur Rural Police conducted a raid at Om Sai Nagar, Mouda.

In the raid it was found that accused was using the computer, printer, photo paper and other materials at the photo studio to create fake driving licenses for the people of the area.

Items such as computer, one printer, 08 fake driving licenses and other items cost Rs. 65,040 were also seized in the raid.

The accused has been identified as Nawab Jamir Baig and a case has been registered under Sections 244/21, Sections 465, 468, 471, 472 with Mouda Police Station.  Further investigation is underway.
