As we know the cybercrimes are increasing day by day in city. And in view of the situation, independent cyber cell has been made in every police station of the city. As per information, officer of this cell will investigate the cyber cheating incidents of his area with the help of cyber cell police station while cases related to serious and sensitive crimes related to women and children and cases like bitcoin will be investigated by the cyber police station. The above order has been given by city police commissioner, Amitesh Kumar.
The above decision has been taken due to lack of adequate manpower in the concerned police station to investigate all types of cyber crimes from cyber police station. Later selected 130 police officers and personnel of 33 police stations got two-day training from May 24 to May 25 at police headquarters auditorium. During the training, guidance was given on many important issues such as the importance of cyber literacy, online banking and standard working procedures.
