A good news for wildlife lovers as T-4 Tigress popular as Patdev Baghin was sighted with her five cubs at Pench Tiger Reserve. Five six-month old cubs are the fourth litter of T-4 tigress which were born on November 30, 2020.Till now T-4 tigress has given birth to total 16 cubs in last seven years. Field Director of Pench Tiger Reserve Viram Singh Parihar informed that T-4 tigress gave birth to 4 cubs in her first litter in year 2014 at the age of 10.
Thereafter, she gave birth to four cubs in second litter during 2017,three cubs in third litter in year 2019 and gave birth to five cubs in fourth litter during 2020. T-4 tigress was amongst five cubs in third litter of T-15 tigress which was known as Collarwali Baghin at Pench Tiger Reserve. Spotting of T-4tigress while nurturing her five cubs in healthy condition is a sign of relief for Pench Tiger Reserve administration and good news for wildlife lovers and tourists.
