After getting information, the Crime branch police conducted a raid in Ekta Nagar area under Mankapur police station and arrested two criminals who were involved in fake currency notes printing. As per information, the arrested accused are Nilesh Raju Kadbe(24),a resident of Samta Nagar,Malka Colony and Maroof Rafique Khan(24),a resident of Teka Taj Nagar. According to the details, crime branch got information on Saturday at around 8.30 pm that Nilesh and his friends are making Indian currency note.
Later, after informing DCP(crime) Gajanan Ramjane, the squad conducted raid on a house situated in plot no 11 near Shiv Mandir of Ekta Nagar. And police recovered two printers, fake currency notes of Rs.100,Rs.50,Rs.20 and Rs.10.During interrogation, the accused said that they were preparing fake currency notes after taking out Xerox of original notes. Cutter was use for finishing. They were also supplying fake notes to other people.
