The leopard which was spotted three days ago in Gayatri Nagar area near IT Park has led the forest officials to Maharajbagh. As a Pig was found death near Maharajbagh on Tuesday morning and is believed to be attacked by the leopard.
Forest Official informed that the leopard was sighted sitting on the wall near the bridge on Maharajbag premises on Monday we are setting up traps in Maharajbag and in nearby areas, cameras are being installed at all the areas where the leopard sighted. On May 28 the leopard was spotted in a locality near IT Park, Nagpur and since then the forest team is vigilant to catch the big cat, and a search operation is in progress.
