Nagpur district has been recording continuous improvement in COVID recovery as the district reported below 100 daily case for the fourth consecutive day with 89 fresh cases in last 24 hours taking the recovery rate to 97.63%. While th activ cases further drops to 2247.
Acting upon the set order issued by Nagpur Municipal Corporation regarding further relaxation in lockdown restrictions in city NMC has given further relaxation to restaurants, Aadhar Card centres, and skill development class from June 14.
Based on the set guidelines for level of restrictions for breaking the Chain in the city limit NMC decided to resume these services. Now Aadhar Card Centres will b allowed to operate till 5 pm. Skill development classes like typing institute, computer institute and skill development institute of health workers are also allowed to be functioning till 5 pm in 20 students in batch or 50% of hall capacity with interval of atleast 1 hour in batches.Restaurants which are inside malls have been allowed to operate till 10 pm with 50% capacity.
The positivity rate of Nagpur is 3.13%, 6177 oxygen beds are vaccant in Nagpur while 604 ventilator beds are vaccant in city. The drop in daily cases has brought relief for the civic administration and healthcare workers.
