Two persons lost their life in a car-moped collision on Lihigaon road under New Kamptee Police jurisdiction while a couple of others sustained injuries, on Wednesday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Aniket Khurpadi and his mother Manisha, both residents of Gada village in Kamptee Tehsil. According to sources, a recklessly driven Suzuki Ertiga rammed the rear end of Honda Activa on Lihigaon Road. Due to the morning shower, the road was wet and following the collision the moped skidded off the road leaving the mother-son duo dead.
