The new team of Rotary Club Of Nagpur for the year 2021-2022 will be installed on Thursday July 1, on digital platform in presence of District Governor Ramesh Meher.
The team led by Dr. Jerestin Watchmaker as President and Rakhi Bhatia as Honorary Secretary include President Elect- Nilufer Rana; Vice President- Namita Sharma, Treasurer- Ashok Mrig, Joint Secretary – Dr. Rahul Chaudhary; Sergeant At Arms – Kusum Pande; Directors Sanjay Singh, Dr. Harish Warbhe, Anjuli Minocha, Manisha Kapoor, Harshit Jain, Aniruddha Raich and Immediate Past President Sandip Dhodapkar.Â
Being the largest and oldest club of RI District 3030; it carries a legacy of service projects that include conducting surgery camps at tribal areas – at Lok Biradari Prakalp at Hemalkasa and Mahatma Gandhi Hospital at Utavali, Melghat; UDAAN a sports event for the specially abled; Blood Donation; Walkathon; Career Guidance and Life skills workshops; Microcredit for women empowerment; Project Nutrition; water shed project; International Youth Exchange; Tree plantation and Environmental pollution control ; Scholarship distribution; Civic awareness and many more.Â
Various other areas of service such as providing assistance for Vaccination registration; availability of oxygen concentrators and availability of hospital beds in collaboration with NMC as well as supporting awareness of mental health issues in keeping with the current needs were conducted last year.Â
