The universities across the nation faced problems in conducting examinations and announcing results of examinations during the last one and a half years. The problems began from the summer examinations of 2020. Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, despite limitations on several fronts, conducted examinations.
In order to catch up with the time schedule, winter 2020 examinations were conducted on-line by the University. Initial glitches were removed and as on June 30, it has succeeded in announcing results of 685 examinations.
The results were announced barely in 24 working days. On an average the results were announced within 30 days, against the prescribed period of 45 days in the Maharashtra Public Universities Act.
The winter examinations were conducted in three phases. Of the 376 exams held in the first phase results of 301 have been announced. In all 130 exams were held in the second phase. Results of 91 of them have been announced. In the third phase 420 examinations were held and the university so far announced results of 292.
The University authorities have stated that they expect other results to be ready within a few days.
