As the cases are on a slight increase in the city Nagpur Municipal Corporation has yet again put Nagpur in Level 3 and has decided to extend lockdown restrictions in the city till further order.
NMC said that the order will come in force from July 5 till further instruction.
In the new restrictions all the essential and non-essential shops will function till 4 pm. Essential shops will remain functional till 4 pm everyday while non-essential shops are allowed to function till 4 pm on weekdays only.
According to the new order Restaurants will be able to function till 4 pm only on Weekdays while afterwards only home delivery will be allowed. These restaurants will not be allowed to give parcel or takeaways. While outside sports activities are allowed from 5 am to 9 am only
NMC has extended the further tightening the restrictions to break the chain of transmission of the COVID 19 virus and tackle the threat of the Delta Plus Variant in the state.
