The National Testing Agency announces the resumption of the remaining two sessions of the JEE (Main) – 2021 from 20 July 2021. JEE Main 2021 registration dates for the 3rd session have also been released in education minister’s live session. Candidates can register at jeemain.nta.nic.in. JEE Main 2021 last session will be open for B.Arch and B.Plan candidates also.

Joint Entrance Examination, Main is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate engineering courses in 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs and 29 GFTIS . NTA was to conduct JEE Main 2021 exam four times a year from 2021. JEE Main 2021 February and March sessions concluded successfully.
Candidate has the option to apply for one Session or more than one Sessions (April/May 2021) together and pay the exam fee accordingly.
If a candidate wants to apply only for B.E/B.Tech.(Paper-1) in April Session and B.Arch. (Paper-2A) B.Planning (Paper 2B) in the May Session then he/she should apply separately.
For B.E/B.Tech. (Paper-1) in April Session during the application window opened for April Session and B.Arch. (Paper-2A) B.Planning (Paper-2B) in May Session during the application window when it is opened for the May Session.
The candidates who have applied earlier for April/May Session can modify their particulars (Session, Category, Subject, etc.) during the period from 6 to 8 July 2021 for (postponed) April Session and 9 to 12 July 2021 for (postponed) May Session.
In order to address the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the number of cities has been increased from 232 to 334.
The number of examination centres in every shift will also be increased from 660 to 828. All related latest COVID-19 guidelines and protocols will be followed at all examination centres.
In addition, the following measures will be taken by the NTA Candidates are being allowed to change their option of centre city.
The total number of candidates who have already registered earlier for the April session is 6.80 lakh and for the May session is 6.09 lakh. But after receiving numerous representations from the candidates to re-open the Online Application window for JEE (Main) – 2021 April Session, it has been decided to provide another opportunity to apply for/withdraw from the remaining JEE (Main) – 2021 Sessions (April and May).
