Directors of an educational institution of Udaipur (Rajasthan) duped a city industrialist of 1.23 crore. The accused are identified as Manmohan Raj Naharmal Singhvi (60), Abhay Manmohan Singhvi (45), Shantilal Kanhaiyalal Sarupia (65) and Piyush Shantilal Sarupia (45), all residents of Udaipur
As per the information, the accused have S.S Education trust in Udaipur. Baidyanath Group’s director Pranav Sharma and his partner Bhavna Sharma made a contract with the accused for installing solar panel on their institute. Sharma purchased the solar panel in 1.23 crore.
According to an agreement the accused were set to use the power generated from solar plant at 204.35 per unit. From January 2018 to till date the accused had used electricity worth 219 lakh.
They did not pay this amount to Sharma. When Sharma’s employees reached Udaipur to dismantle the solar plant then accused stopped them and took possessions of the plant.
Pranav Sharma lodged complaint with economic offences wing. After investigation, PI Yedge registered a case at Ganeshpeth police station.
