Even though Nagpur District is still fulfilling the criteria to be in Level 1, regarding Positivity Rate and Percentages of Oxygen Bed Occupancy, the District is put under Level 3 of restrictions citing the Delta Plus Variant in the state.
The District Collector Ravindra Thackeray has extended the further tightening the restrictions to break the chain of transmission of the COVID 19 virus and tackle the threat of the Delta Plus Variant in the state. The new restrictions will be remain enforce from July 12 to July 19.
A minor modification in sports activities (outdoor only) which will be allowed from 5 am to 9 am and 6 pm to 9 pm as mention in level-3 restriction and restaurant will be allowed to remain open till 4 pm with 50 % capacity afterward home delivery, parcel, or takeaways have been allowed.
The timing for all the essential and non-essential shops remain unchanged. Essential shops will remain functional till 4 pm everyday while non-essential shops are allowed to function till 4 pm on weekdays only.
Malls, Schools, Coaching institutes will still remain closed. The order will remain in force for Nagpur District excluding the areas of Nagpur Municipal Corporation. Sanchar Bandi will come in force after 5 pm while Jamav Bandi will be enforced till 5 pm around the district. The order will remain in force from July 12 to July 19 excluding areas of Nagpur Municipal Corporation.
