Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC), started its admission for English medium of Late Gopalrao Motghare (Khadan) Hindi Higher Secondary School on the auspicious day of ‘Guru Pornima’ on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion Mayor Dayashankar Tiwari, said that the school will provide good education to the children living in the slum area.
“With the opening of the English medium school, the dream of giving free and quality English education to poor students comes true,†Tiwari said.
He further expressed that NMC is taking efforts to start the closed schools and provide quality education. Diwe added that English medium school will be opened in all 6 Vidhan Sabha constituencies. Saroj Pande, Principle of school was also present on the occasion.
Along with Akansha Foundation NMC has started English medium school and 7 students took admission on day one.
