A recent survey makes Nagpur in the top three cities in Maharashtra in terms of porn search on Google.
Porn sites which are still banned in the country for nearly five years have not stopped people from surfing through the internet.
The most shocking news is that Maharashtra’s three cities, namely Pune, Nashik, and Nagpur, are the top three cities in the porn search on Google, according to the survey.
The survey also showed women and the elderly are the most who are surfing such type of content. There has also been an increase in the number of people being duped by various advertisements on porn websites.
The number of viewers of pornographic films and porn sites has increased rapidly and has doubled since lockdown was imposed in the country. Nagpur has also seen a sharp rise in porn searches. Now the cyber police have also started keeping an eye on it.
During the first lockdown India a survey showed that India was a leading country in the world in porn consumption with 95 per cent spike in traffic to adult sites during the three-week lockdown.
India also registered a 20 percent jump in consuming porn content even before the official restrictions kicked in late March last year. Although several Indian telecom operators have blocked a number of adult sites, their content still can be accessed on mirror domains.
