RTMNU’s annual awards announced
Renowned industrialist and social worker Satyanarayan Nuwal will be honoured with Raashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Jeevansadhana award by Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, on its Foundation day. The Foundation Day programme of the University will be held at 9.30 am on August 4.
RTMNU honours a prominent person on its Foundation Da. Last year renowned artist and founder of Basoli Group of Child Artists Chandrakant Channe was selected for the award. The programme, however, could not be held due to lockdown. The award was conferred upon him on virtual platform. This year too physical presence is not possible and the programme will be held on-line. Only awardees will personally attend the programme
Rajya Sabha member Rakesh Sinha will be the chief guest for the function. Vice-Chancellor Dr Subhash Chaudhari will be in the chair. Pro-VC Dr Sanjay Dudhe will remain present on the dais.
The University also honours its employees, employees of affiliated colleges, students, NSS volunteers who have excelled in their work.
Management Council member Vishnu Changde, Senate member Adv Manmohan Bajpai, Director of Students Welfare Dr Abhay Mudgal will be felicitated. They had worked hard to help the students in problems, during the lockdown.
The other awardees are :–Ideal Institution – Adarsha Shikshan Sanstha, Nagpur and Santaji Shikshan Sanstha, Nagpur. Ideal Officer – Satish Sadashiv Murmare and Dr Naveen Parshuram Mungle, RTMNU. Class-III emplyees – Nitin Narayan Kharbade and Arvind G Kothe. Class-IV employees: Ganesh Babusinh Rathod, Sanjay Uttamrao Gharde, Vijay Chhotelal Binkar, all RTMNU. Affiliated Colleges Class-III Manoj Purushottam Malkapure and Sarang Sureshrao Gadge. Class-IV – Machhindra Bhagwanji Kale.
Principal Balraj Aher Memorial Gold Medal for Ideal Non-teaching employee—Class-II –Manoj Bijaram Meshram (2020); Class –III – Gajanan Vishnupant Kawle (2021).
Best Student – Sanjay Mohan Gormode, Anirban Gautam Mukherjee, Dipali Vijay Tekam, Dilprit Kaur Viokram Singh Sokhi (2020); Rahul Prasanna Kavishvar, (2020) and Prachi Girdharilal Agrawal (2021).
Best Student in Cultural Activities:– Dhruv Yogesh Bhargav and Krutika Jagdish Gangle.
Best NCC Cadet: – Chinmay Wamanrao Gaidhane and Sakshi Santosh Ojha.
