The INTACH- Indian National Trust For Art And Cultural Heritage, Heritage Club of Centre Point School, Wardhaman Nagar had its installation ceremony on 1 st August, 2021.
The ceremony was adorned by the graceful presence of Dr. Madhura Rathod, Convener, INTACH Nagpur Chapter & Founder, Architectural Sankul, Architect Nikita S. Ramani, Co-Convener, INTACH Nagpur Chapter and Founder, Architectural Sankul, Vice Principals Deepa Chakraborty, Jayati Chakraborty, teachers, parents and grandparents.
The INTACH Heritage Club members were honoured with their badges and the passports by their parents and grandparents. The passport is an identity of the child and the heritage sites visited by them in their town, state and country.
Various activities will be performed by the INTACH members and this will help them gain knowledge about the heritage of India and the world.
The club is ably guided and supported by the in charge teachers, Nisreen Sabir and Sameer Sonekar and Deepa Chakraborty, Vice-Principal, Centre Point School, Wardhaman Nagar.
Nitika Ramani motivated the students to conserve nature and also gave a message that we should be friends with our heritage by loving it and most importantly by caring for it. Deepa Chakraborty, Vice Principal, Centre Point School, Wardhaman Nagar congratulated the young members and expressed the importance of the INTACH pledge, ‘I CARE’.
