Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) will setup 20 units of manufacturing paints from cow dug in Vidarbha. Gupta said while  speaking at a press conference here today.
He also informed of opening a Khadi Plaza soon in city. Elaborating about the various schemes of KVIC, he said Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) is the flagship programme of KVIC.
He added that a workshop cum awareness camp on PMEGP is organized at Shikshak Sahakari Bank Sabhagruh, Gandhisagar, Mahal on August 16. He informed that Nitin Gadkari, Union Road Transport and Highway Minister and Devenra Fadnavis, Leader of Opposition in Maharashtra Legislative Assembly along with other dignitaries will grace the occasion.
R V Mahindrakar, Director KVIC Divisional Office, Nagpur added that the objective of the workshop is to propagate KVIC schemes and accelerate the implementation both by the implementing agencies and the banks.
The awareness during the workshop will be created for the public representatives who will further encourage the prospective entrepreneurs in their area for setting up micro enterprises under PMEGP. Â Â
