Two Nagpurians find place in the list
Two Nagpurians Anjaiya Annaparthi of Times of India and Dr Yogesh Pande of Lokmat have bagged state level journalism prizes for the year 2019. The prizes have been announced on Saturday.
Anjaiya has ben selected for Anant Gopal Sheorey (English) Award. Pande has been honoured with G T Madkholkar award from Nagpur region.
Sandip Kale of Dainik Youth Sakal has been selected for Balshastri Jambhekar Developmental Journalism State Level Award.
The other award winners are – baburao Vishnu Paradkar award – Rajan Parkar, Dopahar Samna, Mumbai. Moulana Abul Kalam Azad Award (Urdu) – Farhan Hanif, Urdu News, Mumbai. Yashvantrao Chavan Award (Marathi) — Pravin Take, DIO, Chandrapur. P L Deshpande award – Vedant Neb, ABP Maza, Mumbai. Totaram Kukreja photography award – Praskant Kharote, Lokmat, Nashik. Keki Moos photography award – Rohit Kamble, Kolhapur. Social Media Award – Rahul Zote, Mirror India, Buldana. Swachha Maharashtra Award – Pratibha Raje, Pudhari, Satara. Sudhakar Doifode Editorial Award – Rohini Khadilkar-Potnis, Dainik Sandhyakal, Mumbai.
Regional awards :- Nashik -Dadasaheb Potnis Award manoj Shelar, Lokmat. Aurangabad – Anantrao Bhalerao Award – Mahesh Joshi, Divya Marathi. Mumbai – Acharya Atre Award – Sachin Lungse, Lokmat. Pune- nanasaheb Parulekar Award – Chaitrali Chandorkar, Maharashtra Times. Konkan – S M Paranjape Award – Harshad Kashalkar, Lokmat, Raigad. Kolhapur – G G Jadhav Award – Eknath Naik, Pudhari. Amravati – Loknayak Bapuji Aney Award – Jayant Sonone, Divya Marathi. Nagp[ur – Yogesh Pande, Lokmat.
The prize winners were selected by a committee headed by Director general of Information and Publicity Dr Dilip Pandharpatte and Narendra Kothekar, Vidyadhar Chindarkar, Reny Abraham, Inerkumar Jain, Sheikh Mohammad Aslam, Reshmi Puranik, Ravindra Ambekar, Ashok Panwalkar and Arun Kulkarni as members.
