Forestmen from Nagalwadi Range Forest, Pench Tiger Reserve (unifieid control), Nagpur, arrested seven persons from Madhya Pradesh for trespassing in compartment no: 702 and seized four two-wheelers with five kg medicinal plants from them on Friday.
It is reported that the frontline staff members were patrolling the area in the range noticed the following trespassers and pounced on them: Suresh Ramprasad Ramteke, Janglu Chhote Sayyam, Ashok Deva Dhurve, Sheku Chhotelal Tumdam, Sanaji Nirli Uikey, Pratap Janglu Sariyam and Pipru Bakariya Dhurve, all residents from Melari Bakul in Mokhed tehsil, Chhindwara district in MP.
The foresters registered an offence against them under revelant sections of Indian Forest Act and Wildlife Protectin Act. The action was taken by Vijay Kadam, Range Forest Officer, Mate, Kumbhre, Ingle, Korti and others.
