A deputation of Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi met Senior Police Inspector (Traffic) and submitted a memorandum to him recently, pressing the demand to remove encorachment made by a person with a view of grabbing the land of authorised autorickshaw stand near the gate of Mayo Hospital.
Ravibhau Shende, President of the aghadi, who led the deputation, told the PI that the person along with anti-social elements threantened autorickshaw drivers opposing the enchroachment. He demanded that the police should take necessary steps in removing the encorachment.
The deputation was consisted of Kishor Bambole, Purushottam Taywade, Dharmapal Lamsonge, Ramesh Kamble, Anand Chaure, Shamim Khan and others.
