The auspicious 10-day festival of Ganesh Chaturthi began on September 10. Owing to Coronavirus pandemic and restrictions imposed in city this year again everyone welcomed Vignaharta in a very subtle way.
This year many Ganesh Mandals have joined hands with civic authorities to keep the virus at bay and celebrate the festival. Over the years we all have seen numerous themes in Ganesh Pandol celebrating the victory of good over evil.
The famous Hill Top Cha Raja is celebrating its 32 years and this year they are vaccinating all the devotees. Ekta Ganesh Utsav Mandal has set up 151 feet and has given it injection-shape this year. With a mission to vaccinate citizens and help India in fighting the pandemic, organizers have set up a vaccination center in the Pandal informed organizer Prakash Gajbiye. Online darshan has also been organized for devotees this year on their Facebook page.
We have taken an oath to vaccinate 25,000 people and help India to fight India he added.
The Ganesh Murti is 22 feet and we have decorated the idol with attractive artifacts. The Mushak is dressed as Doctor to spread the message that one must vaccinate themselves.
