The central admission committee has completed third round of the Standard XI admission process. So far, 19,284 students have finalised admissions while 38,591 seats are still vacant even after third round. The admission process for 58,875 seats in 217 junior colleges in the jurisdiction of Nagpur Municipal Corporation are being held.
This year’s Secondary School Certificate result was 99 percent. So it was expected that all seats of Standard XI will be filled up.
But going through the admissions done after third round, it seems that large number of seats of Standard XI will remain vacant.
The maximum admissions done so far are 38 percent in science faculty The admissions in commerce stream is 29 per cent, arts 24 per cent and Minimum Competency Vocational Courses 25 percent.
