Pujya Samadha Ashram organised a three-day Jaipur Foot Camp in the camp premises in which organisers distributed prosthetic legs, calipers, crutches, and splints to 386 persons with disabilities, who came from Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
The camp was recently organised in the ashram premises to mark 87th jayanti of Sadguru Swami Shivbhajan Maharaj under the guidance of Swami Narayan bhajan Maharaj.
Dayashankar Tiwari, the Mayor, Virendera Kukreja, Corporator and former Chairman of Health Committee, Pramila Mathrani, Mangalwari Zone Chairperson, Mahendra Dhanvijay, Corporator Baba Khatwale, Fakira Bhayya, Nilopatal, DCP, Lohit Matani, DCP, Dr Vinky Rughwani, Vice-President of Maharashtra Medical Council, Dr Parmanand Laharwani, Sushama Choudhari, Corporator, Dr Devkkinandan, Supervisor of Jaipur Foot team, and Pappubhai Manthan, President of the ashram trust, were prominently present.
Addressing the gathering, Tiwari appreciated services being rendered by the ashram in the interest of weaker sections of society. This is a noble cause being done for persons with disabilities.
Virendra Kukreja also expressed his views. Chandrakumar Tekchandani made introductory remarks. On the occasion, technical workers of Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti, Kota, were felicitated at the hands of the guests. Nilam Thakwani conducted and proposed a vote of thanks.
