The Satellite centre of Kavikulguru Kalidas Sanskrit University, Ramtek, is being inaugurated at Ratnagiri on Saturday.
The Centre is being started in a space of about 20,000 sqft, having modern computer lab, digital classrooms, yoga training centre etc. The Centre equipped with modern facilities at the centre of Ratnagiri, could be started with support from the Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Higher Education Minister Uday Samant. KKSU VC Dr Shrinivasa Varakhedi was determined to start Satellite centre of the University, the first being inaugurated on Saturday. He has plans to start centres at Pune, Aurangabad and Parbhani in the near future.
The Satellite Centre will be inaugurated by CM Thackeray at 12 noon. Uday Samant, Guardian Minister of Ratnagiri Ani Parab will be the guests. VC Dr Varakhedi will preside over.
This is an important development as people from Konkan will get opportunity to learn Sanskrit and various other courses conducted by the University at the Centre.
