The religious places will be opened for the devotees from October 7. The day also marks the beginning of Ashvin month and Navratri celebrations.
As per the new order, Nagpur Collector Vimla R has issued Standard Procedure for Preventive Measures (SOP) to prevent the spread of Coronavirus in religious places by making partial changes in the Break the Chain order.
The order will be applicable for Nagpur district (excluding the area of ​​Nagpur Municipal Corporation, Nagpur) till further orders.
Religious places:
Religious and places of worship outside the content zone are allowed to start from October 7.
Authorities are imperative to observe social distancing by wearing face masks at these places and it is also mandatory to provide thermal scanning as well as facilities for hand washing, sanitiser facilities at religious places.
All management and staff working at the place of worship and all the citizens entering will have to complete both dose of Vaccination plus 14 days of time interval.
Children below 18 years of age who have not been vaccinated yet will be required to show an identity card at the entrance as proof of age when entering a religious place.
Any person, organization, or group who does not comply with this order will be punishable under the Prevention of Infectious Diseases Act 1897, Disaster Management Act 2005 as well as Indian Penal Code 1860, and action will be taken as per rules.
Religious places/places of worship will be closed to the public in the containment zone. Only places of worship/places of worship outside the containment zone will be allowed.
The administration has appealed to people over 65 years of age, people with complex diseases/disorders, pregnant women, and children under 10 years of age to stay at home.
If a suspicious or infected patient is found in the premises of a religious place
The person concerned should be separated immediately.
Care should be taken to ensure that the person concerned wears the mask full time till the examination by a doctor and other experts.
Authorities must immediately inform the nearest medical facility. If a person is found infected with covid, the entire area should be disinfected immediately.
