The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) preliminary examination will be conducted at 61 centres on October 10.
In all 22,774 candidates have enrolled for the examination, which will be held in two sessions. The examinees have been requested to take their seats ten minutes in advance. For the first session, the candidates should remain present at 9.20 am and for the second session at 2.20 pm. There after the candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
The District Collector Vimala R has stated that for any reason additional time will not be granted o the candidates. In view of the Corona pandemic, the candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination centre without a mask. They have been advised to carry hand sanitizer with them. Electronic gadgets like mobile phones, calculators, i-pads etc. should not be carried by the candidates.
