The college teachers, appointed without having passed NET or SET, have been granted a major relief by the State Government. They will be eligible for pension, calculated from the date of their appointment.
In a cabinet decision the relief has been granted to those appointed between October 23, 1992 and April 3, 2000. As per the Government Resolution of October 18, 2001 and June 23, 2013, the non-NET/SET teachers appointed during the above period and continued till their superannuation, have been considered for the decision of granting pension.
