The Preamble of Constitution of India inscribed on a plaque, was unveiled by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari at Samvidhan Chyowk, on Sunday.
Leader of Opposition in the State Assembly Devendra Fadnavis, Mayor Dayashankar Tiwari and others were present.
Gadkari said that the plaque will inspire people, as it has been installed at the right place, near Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar’s statue. Gadkari appreciated the efforts of Sandip Jadhav for following and completing the project on behalf of Nagpur Municipal Corporation.
Dayashankar Tiwari stated that the sand stone plaque used for inscribing the Preamble and lighting arrangement was erected by sp0ending Rs 22 lakh.
Fadnavis also addressed the gathering.
Architect Uday Gajbhiye and Contrarctor Parvez Khan were also felicitated on the occasion.
MP Dr Vikas Mahatme, MLA Vikas Kumbhare, Avinash Thakre, tanaji Wanve, Additional Commissioner Deepakkumar Meena, Jayprakash Gupta and others were present.
