The premier annual Chess event is back after a gap of 2 years . Kalpana Prakash Welfare Foundation in association with G H Raisoni sports and cultural foundation is organizing “2nd G H Raisoni Memorial All India FIDE Rapid and Blitz Rating Tournament” on 4th & 5th December at G H Raisoni Institute of engineering & technology College, Shraddha park, Near MIDC Police Station, Hingna- Wadi Link Road Nagpur.Â
National Rapid Champion & International Master Anwesh Upadhyaya, International Master Ravi Teja S, FIDE Master Akash Thakur & FIDE Master Sauravh Khherdekar have already Confirmed their entries for is mega Event.Inauguration ceremony to take place on 4th december at 09:00 AM & 1st round to Start at 10AM.The tournament will be conducted in Rapid and Blitz format of Chess .Blitz tournament to start On 5th December followed by Prize distribution ceremony. Prize Fund of the event is Rs. 2lacs.
1st Prize is Rs.50,000 ,2nd Rs.30,000 & 3rd Rs. 20,000. Total 31 Cash Prizes and 70 trophies are on stakes. A recognized team of arbiters headed by International Arbiter Mr. Promodraj Moree from Gulbarga, IA Pravin Pantawane, FA Pravin Thakre from Jalgaon, FA Shubham Soni from rajnandgaon, SNA Sheetal Panbude , NA Amit Temburne, Amit bhongare, Prayas ambade will conduct and monitior the tournament.
