People frequently use flowers and chocolates to convey their love for their significant others, occasionally splurging on an expensive trip abroad or a luxurious piece of clothes. Despite the fact that there are many gifts to choose from for your spouse, one man chose to go above and beyond.
A man from Madhya Pradesh’s Burhanpur area has built a replica of the Taj Mahal as a symbol of his love for his wife, similar to how Shah Jahan had the magnificent monument built for his wife.
Anand Chokse, a resident of Burhanpur in Madhya Pradesh, is the man who created this lovely home for his wife. Chokse was always confused as to why the Taj Mahal was not constructed in his birthplace, where Shah Jahan’s wife Mumtaz had died, but rather in Agra.
Anand Chokse planned to build a magnificent duplicate of the Taj Mahal in Burhanpur as a lasting memorial to his love for his wife, with stonework and construction replicating the famed structure. According to sources, the house took three years to construct.
The Taj Mahal replica is a beautiful four-bedroom mansion with arches and detailed architectural work that are exact replicas of the Taj Mahal. During the construction of the house, the engineer had numerous obstacles in maintaining the precision and beauty of the original monument.
The mansion was constructed after meticulously researching the original Taj Mahal and enlisting the assistance of numerous artists from Indore and West Bengal to carve the stone inside the structure. With a 29-foot-high dome and Taj Mahal-like towers on the sides, the mansion radiates elegance.
The flooring of the house has been made from ‘Makrana’ of Rajasthan while the exquisite furniture of the house was made by artisans from Mumbai. Apart from the four bedrooms, the house also has a library and a meditation room.
Capturing the essence of the original Taj Mahal, the lights inside and outside the house illuminate it in a way similar to the iconic monument at night.
