Shweta Tripathi has always portrayed strong characters such as Golu Gupta in ‘Mirzapur’ and Sandhya in ‘Haraamkhor’ to name a few. She says she can relate to such characters because she is a fiery person herself.
She introduces softer and warmer character tour screens with ‘Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein.’ Shweta, while talking about her past characters and the challenges of playing a romantic role in ‘Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein’, said ” I’m someone who has played a lot of strong characters in the past, and I can resonate with them as well because I am a bit of a fiery person. But I believe the most significant difference between Shikha’s life and mine is that she has experienced a great deal of pain, and embodying that pain without having experienced it was a huge challenge.”
Shweta mentioned that she has participated in action in the past, but “this type of action is very different.” I find myself crying as I run through gunshots and explosions. I’m used to not being scared. So, even if it’s with a gun, I wouldn’t be afraid; instead, I’d pick it up and shoot it, as opposed to here,” she added.
